Allmendingen

Allmendingen lies on the western periphery of the City of Thun, has around 2,300 residents, offers an impressive view of the Stockhorn mountain range and stands out - in the centre – through its pronounced village-like character.

The golf course, the "Kensai-Karate-Do" (also referred to as the Temple) and the new football stadium are distinctive structures that characterise the district.

The fact that Allmendingen is a very popular residential district, in particular for families, is also thanks to the nearby recreational area, such as the Burgerholz wood, the Allmend (common) and the rifle range with its characteristic floodplain landscape.

The two industrial and commercial areas, "Bierigut" and "Allmendingen Nord" are also attractive business locations that have good transport connections thanks to the motorway exit "Thun-Süd".
