Aarequai
The around two kilometre «Aarequai», which leads from the Thun Rathaus along the inner Aare and the shore of Lake Thun to the Hilterfingen ship station, attracts countless walkers, cyclists and inline-skaters, particularly on sunny days.
A real pleasure for all those who value magnificent mountain scenery, beautiful views of the city and the proximity to water.
Shore path from Lachen to Gwattlischenmoos
A picturesque lakeside walk runs along the shore of Lake Thun for around 2.5 kilometres, from the "Strandbad" bus stop (bus line 1 in the direction of Spiez) to the Gwattlischenmoos. The wooden boardwalks and bridges that lead over the fragile shoreline make encounters between people and nature possible without endangering the fragile ecosystem.
